LEZIONI SUGLI OPPOSTI: CORPICINO + MONARCH

Nel 2013 Tuono Pettinato e AkaB dialogavano sui loro libri appena usciti, “Corpicino” e “Monarch”. Quel colloquio per molti versi assurdo non è andato perso: Il TCBF ripropone quello scambio di visioni con una mostra. Due dei più grandi fumettisti della vecchia nuova generazione, due gigantesche perdite, due artisti cupi e profondissimi. Due libri opposti per un confronto su temi comuni, due esempi di crudeltà su carta. Attraverso quattro assi tematici il percorso conduce i visitatori in fondo all’orrore, e poi di nuovo sulla superficie della realtà. Curata da Virginia Tonfoni e Matteo “Duluth” Contin, la mostra è la prima tappa di un recupero più approfondito che sarà svelato al festival.

In 2013, Tuono Pettinato and AkaB engaged in a dialogue about their newly released books, *Corpicino* and *Monarch*. That conversation absurd in many respects has not been lost; the TCBF is revisiting that exchange of visions through an exhibition. Two of the greatest comic artists of the “old new generation” - two immense losses, two dark and profoundly deep artists. Two contrasting books brought together to explore shared themes; two examples of cruelty rendered on paper. Structured around four thematic axes, the exhibition guides visitors into the depths of horror before bringing them back to the surface of reality. Curated by Virginia Tonfoni and Matteo “Duluth” Contin, the exhibition marks the first step in a more comprehensive retrospective to be unveiled at the festival.
