La stilosissima Yi Yang arriva al TCBF con una mostra che è già un viaggio: formatasi tra la Cina e l’Europa, l’autrice porta alle Gallerie del Liceo Artistico il suo universo narrativo, unico nel suo essere un mondo sospeso tra realtà e immaginazione, tra adolescenza e mistero, tra nord-est della Cina e nord-est italiano. Al centro del percorso espositivo, la trilogia pubblicata da Bao Publishing: "Easy Breezy", “Deep Vacation” e “Comet Club”. Tre storie, un gruppo di ragazzi, piccoli drammi quotidiani, misteri più grandi di loro e a fare da sfondo un sottobosco criminale e di una crisi industriale che ha segnato un’intera regione. Da queste storie emerge una riflessione sul valore dei momenti di passaggio che vede la transizione industriale, così come l’adolescenza, un tempo sospeso ma cruciale nel plasmare un’identità.

The incredibly stylish Yi Yang arrives at TCBF with an exhibition that is a journey in itself: having honed her craft between China and Europe, the artist brings her narrative universe to the Liceo Artistico galleries a world uniquely suspended between reality and imagination, adolescence and mystery, and the landscapes of Northeast China and Northeast Italy. At the heart of the exhibition lies the trilogy published by Bao Publishing: *Easy Breezy*, *Deep Vacation*, and *Comet Club*. These three stories feature a group of young people navigating minor daily dramas and mysteries far greater than themselves, all set against the backdrop of a criminal underworld and the industrial crisis that shaped an entire region. From these tales emerges a reflection on the significance of transitional moments, viewing industrial change - much like adolescence - as a time that is suspended yet crucial to the shaping of identity.
