ANIMATION CONVERSATION
Ritorna “Animation Conversation”, format nato al Treviso Comic Book Festival 2025 come una mostra in realtà aumentata che apriva una finestra sull’animazione e sul motion design in Italia. L’iniziativa ha acceso la scintilla all’interno della scena, che ha fatto vivere la mostra di vita propria arricchendola di talk, incontri e di condivisioni, diventando un punto di riferimento fisico in Italia per la community. Quest’anno il format torna in un’altra veste, sempre negli spazi di Casa Robegan di Fondazione Mazzotti e si svilupperà tutto nell’arco di una serata dalle 17 alle 22.30: un talk di Tai di Alkanoids, una rassegna di cortometraggi animati indipendenti, a cura del collettivo Serato Animato che organizza e promuove screening di animazione underground su territorio nazionale e l’intervento musicale di Cirquit Jam Collective, collettivo di Padova che organizza e orchestra delle performance di musica elettronica live improvvisata. Per sottolineare il parallelismo tra musica e animazione la jam sarà accompagnata da un visual set.”
“Animation Conversation” returns -a format that originated at the Treviso Comic Book Festival as an augmented reality exhibition offering a window into Italian animation and motion design. The initiative sparked a movement within the scene, allowing the exhibition to take on a life of its own through talks, meet-ups, and knowledge-sharing, ultimately becoming a key physical hub for the community in Italy. This year, the format returns in a new guise - once again hosted at Casa Robegan (Fondazione Mazzotti) - and unfolds over the course of a single evening, from 5:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The program features a talk by Tai (from Alkanoids); a showcase of independent animated short films curated by the Serato Animato collective (which organizes and promotes underground animation screenings nationwide); and a musical performance by the Cirquit Jam Collective, a group from Padua that orchestrates improvised live electronic music performances. To highlight the parallel between music and animation, the jam session will be accompanied by a visual set.
