Distopia, cinema, horror e rock’n’roll: l’universo visivo di Stefano Cardoselli. Classe 1971, Cardoselli è stato il primo italiano a comparire sull’antologia fantasy Tales of Teelguuth di 2000 AD, introdotta da Alan Moore, e ha vinto il prestigioso Bram Stoker Award nel 2021. I suoi lavori affondano le radici nel cinema di Ridley Scott, Fritz Lang e David Cronenberg, il suo segno sporco, diretto, viscerale è diventato inconfondibile, anche grazie alla libertà creativa trovata nel genere horror. Ha collaborato con editori come Heavy Metal, Oni Press, Scout Comics, Mad Cave Studios, Sergio Bonelli (in autunno il suo Dylan Dog)… Recenetemente, i suoi fumetti sono usciti in Italia per Mirage e soprattutto Green Moon Comics. È anche character designer per Fortnite e lavora come storyboard artist per gli USA. Appassionato di musica, ha realizzato artwork per Dorian Holley e per il From Zero World Tour 2025 dei Linkin Park.

Dystopia, cinema, horror, and rock ‘n’ roll: the visual universe of Stefano Cardoselli. Born in 1971, Cardoselli was the first Italian to appear in the fantasy anthology Tales of Teelguuth in 2000 AD, introduced by Alan Moore, and won the prestigious Bram Stoker Award in 2021. His work is rooted in the cinema of Ridley Scott, Fritz Lang, and David Cronenberg; his dirty, direct, visceral style has become unmistakable, thanks in part to the creative freedom found in the horror genre. He has collaborated with publishers such as Heavy Metal, Oni Press, Scout Comics, Mad Cave Studios, Sergio Bonelli (his Dylan Dog is coming out this fall). His comics have recently been published in Italy by Mirage and, most notably, Green Moon Comics. He is also a character designer for Fortnite and works as a storyboard artist for the US. A music enthusiast, he has created artwork for Dorian Holley and Linkin Park’s From Zero World Tour 2025.
